The Pharmaceutical division of Pharmacie Nouvelle is the oldest division of the company. It started its activities in 1912, with the opening of a retail chemist shop in Port Louis. However, from 1919 onward, this division changed its approach, and began importing pharmaceutical products in bulk.
From representing a few international laboratories in 1919, the pharmaceutical division of Pharmacie Nouvelle has succeeded in building itself into a strong organisation, with an extensive distribution network, and a highly specialised marketing team. It now represents some of the leading laboratories of the world: Bayer Schering Pharma, Sanofi-Aventis, Pfizer Global Pharmaceuticals, Roche Diagnostics, Slovay. |
